- Conditioning drills including sprints, games, wall sits, planks, (think Field Day on steroids but indoors)
- Athletes of all ages and experiences levels led by Coaches JJ, Thierry, Cyndy, Justin, Parth, and others (we have heard good rumors about new coaches…)
- Karate-specific drills for kata and kumite

- Team photo of everyone who trains!
- Rest, eat, drink like an athlete. That means hydrate with plenty of plain water (cold or room temperature) the day before (Friday), stay off the caffeinated sweet drinks, eat a normal dinner, and definitely, have breakfast before 9:30 AM at the latest.
- Do not be nervous, there is nothing that is super hard, just a few new things, set in a motivating tone that makes you want to be faster and smarter than your old self
- practice karate uniform
- sparring gear if you have mitts, mouthguard, helmet
- jump rope (Sensei JJ wants everyone to buy a thin jump rope, like the black one, NOT the kids jump rope (see picture below)
- extra workout clothes – Tshirt, shorts or loose pants, socks
- running shoes
- water bottle
- light snack (like an apple and cheese stick, or orange and pretzels/crackers)
- spirit and an open mind
- come in T shirt, shorts with running shoes, bring the items above.
