About Triangle’s Best Karate
At Triangle’s B.E.S.T Karate, our mission is to empower students to grow through Better Education and Strong Tradition, and to develop strength, focus, and character for life.

Being in business for 21 years, we have tried many marketing channels and digital and print campaigns, with the primary goal of customer acquisition. Getting prospective members in for a trial class is as important as closing the deal/making the sale. We need to rebuild a larger base of customers for successful word of mouth efforts. Our website and CRM system are maintained by Market Muscle.
As we expand our programs and community presence, we’re looking for a Marketing and Sales Partner who shares our passion for helping others and grow our dojo to 150+ active members and beyond.
Position Overview
The Marketing and Sales Partner will work directly with Sensei J.J. Yu-Robinson to promote Triangle’s Best Karate across all available channels and community spaces.
This is a partnership role with performance-based compensation, offering strong earning potential for someone who’s motivated, creative, and community-driven.
You’ll help spread awareness of our dojo, build enrollment, and grow our programs — including:
- Night Classes (core focus)
- Homeschool Karate Classes
- Ninja Flip Classes
- Personal Training Sessions
- Competition Team
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote all programs to youth, teens, and adults.
- Create and manage social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Google, and community groups).
- Reach out to local schools, homeschool groups, community centers, and family-focused businesses to share program information or partnership opportunities.
- Run targeted online ads ($50–$100/month range) to attract local families within 7 miles of the dojo.
- Attend or organize local community events, school fairs, and family expos to represent the dojo.
- Capture photos/videos for social media and marketing use.
- Follow up with trial participants and help convert them into full members.
- Track performance metrics — inquiries, trials, enrollments — and report progress.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong understanding of social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, etc.).
- Experience in basic advertising or local marketing for small businesses.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- A genuine interest in health, fitness, or martial arts (no karate experience required).
- Access to a computer and reliable internet.
- Ability to be present at the dojo on Leesville Road once weekly.
Desired Characteristics
- Community-minded: enjoys connecting with families, schools, and local groups.
- Self-motivated: takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
- Creative: enjoys designing posts, writing copy, and coming up with marketing ideas.
- Personable & positive: represents the dojo’s friendly and respectful culture.
- Results-driven: motivated by clear goals and growth incentives.
- Locally connected: ideally someone in the Raleigh / Leesville area who understands the community and families we serve.
Compensation
- Commission-based structure — percentage or fixed rate per new student enrollment (e.g., $100 per new member).
- Additional bonuses for hitting monthly or quarterly goals.
- Future potential for a long-term partnership role as the dojo expands (Suite 106 or new location).
How to Apply
