I recommend for all ages and skill levels. The technical level and experience of instructors and several of the students are like no other. A large number of them are international champions and more are getting ready for the challenge, like me. It is a traditional dojo, it is expected discipline, respect and hard work. Two things I think to be unique, first is the supportive environment (competitive yes, but it is like a big family of champions sharing their best) and the second is the intellectual teachings (origin of techniques, comparisons with other martial arts) which is making me sharper as a karate-ka and a person.

August’s contests, challenge, and special pricing

AugustAnchor is Welcome Back Month
We always offer a free trial class for prospective Dojo members.  When you enroll in August for 3 months, you receive one month free.
Aug 4-30: August Class Challenge!  Take a class from every different instructor; get your card completely filled. At the end of the month, ONE winner will be drawn for training with all the instrutors and ONE winner will be drawn for taking the largest number of classes. Winners each receive a $20 gift card each to Goodberry’s.

Aug 11-16:   In each class, a new student is invited to lead warm-ups.  If you or your child would like to practice and get briief coaching for this role ahead of time, please email Sensei here. 

Aug. 18-23:  Receive $5 off any branded apparel item (shirt, jacket, etc) in stock, or $10 off of any uniform or sparring gear in stock

Aug. 25:  Welcome Back to School Contests: for FDOC (First Dy of Class) 

  • Fastest punch. (2 by 2 elimination to find the winner with the fastest punch.
  • Highest number of push-ups in one minute.
  • Greatest number of sit-ups in one minute.
